Digital X-Rays

As part of our commitment to provide our patients with the safest and most effective dental options, Aadhya dental care is equipped with one of the most technologically advanced digital x-ray (Myray's Zen x- Italian brand. Digital x-rays are safer, faster, more accurate, and far more biologically conscientious than their traditional counterparts. The x-rays require no film, therefore reducing exposure to radiation by 90 percent and eliminating hazardous waste. Patients can simply close their mouths on digital sensors while our computers process the images within seconds.

Digital Panoramic Dental X-Ray

We have installed world class panoramic imager ( European brand) called Hyperion MRT which is an advanced panoramic imager featuring Morphology Recognition Technology (MRT) which automatically identifies patient size and all parameters required to ensure correct X-ray exposure.

Panoramicx ray unit takes the image of all the teeth, upper and lower jaw and the joints of the jaw in a single shot and no film is placed inside the mouth. Images can be instantly viewed on the computer monitor.Images can be enlarged and interpreted accurately and can be emailed or sent through bluetooth to the patient.

A panoramic x-ray reveals the presence of an existing issue or potential problem such as:

Intraoral Camera

Aadhya dental care enhances your understanding of the diagnosis and treatment planning with the help ofintraoral camera technology. An intraoral camera is a very small camera - in some cases, just a few millimetres long which allows us to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums, in order to make accurate diagnosis. The clear, defined, enlarged images show the details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations.This means faster diagnosis with less chair-time for you!Intra oral cameras also enable us to save your images along with the details in our office data-base to provide a permanent record of reatments. These images can be printed for you.

Dental Handpieces (Drill)

A dentist's drill is one of those things you only notice when it is being used in your mouth. The old fashion hand-pieces have a high pitched whiney sound that can truly set your teeth on edge. Aadhya dental care uses one of the most technologically advanced CE certified W and H electrical and air driven fiber optic LED hand-pieces which are made in Austria. The electric hand-pieces are much quieter, more comfortable, and produce less vibration. They are fully thermo disinfectable and sterilizable.

Cleanliness of Dental Instruments

Dental instruments at Aadhya Dental Care undergo several rounds of processing to ensure total safety and total sterilization.

Cleaning Process

Cleaning process is the first step in the disinfection and sterilization of dental instruments. Cleaning of dental instruments are done in a two step process :

• Manual cleaning: Cleaning of Dental instruments is done by using an enzymatic cleaner. The enzymes help in removal of blood, saliva, proteins that carry possible bacteria and viruses.
• Ultrasonic cleaning: After manual cleaning is done, instruments are placed in ultrasonic machines to clean and remove tiny or invisible dirt trapped in instrument. The ultrasonic cleaner is a device that removes debris by a process called cavitation, in which waves of acoustic energy are propagated in aqueous solutions to disrupt the bonds that hold particulate matter to surfaces.

Packaging Process

Once dental instruments are cleaned, dried, and inspected, those requiring sterilization are wrapped or placed in non-woven and peel pouches that are effective for steam sterilization process.

Sterilization Process

Aadhya dental care uses the state of the art B-type autoclave, Euronda (Italian company) which is in full compliance with EN 13060 to processes instruments effectively. It has a self-managed micro-processed controller, ensures perfect functioning during autoclaving. The new pre-vacuumed technology ensures that the instruments are completely sterilised reliably and consistently. Sterilised and packed instruments are stored in the u v light chambers to maintain the high standards of sterilisation.

Sterilized items and packages containing sterile supplies are inspected before use to verify barrier integrity and dryness.

Cleanliness of Dental Treatment Rooms

Dental units at Aadhya Dental Care are cleaned and disinfected after every single use with patient. Single-use disposable towels that contain high level disfectants are used with our dental units during cleaning.

Maintenance Units

Correct cleaning and lubrication are essential to the function and long working life of dental instruments. Our clinic uses the Assistina (W and H) air-driven maintenance unit designed for straight and contra-angle dental handpieces, turbines, air motors and air-driven scalers.

Suction Units

The suction system is one of the most important items in the dental practice that makes a vital contribution to practice hygiene and protection against infection.

Our clinic uses suction machines from Durr Dental from Germany. The Durrsuction unit uses a power motor designed for continuous suction operation in eliminating secretions and solids at the same time. The machine uses air flow and centrifugal force to separate liquids and solids without water for additional reliability and safety for patients.
